Multi-version Minecraft Servers

I think it could be a good idea to have a service that provides a client abstraction for Minecraft servers, similar to ViaVersion (https://viaversion.com) but built specifically for custom/from-scratch servers.

Essentially, "If you could choose one protocol for your server to speak, why would it ever be Java Edition Protocol Version 773?".

The answer is that ViaVersion already exists and works, so I have no plans on making this :p
