What a poifect steno engine might look like.

Multi-platform

In making Pinchord, and even with thinking about Generated Dictionaries in making Quartz, the divide between Plover and Javelin when implementing anything other than JSON dictionaries is quite painful.

Some people prefer running an app like Plover, others prefer not needing an app and doing it all in firmware like Javelin. You should really be able to do both without issue.

Programmatic Dictionaries

Maybe not full-Quartz, but some kind of multi-platform programmatic dictionary support would be awesome.

Plover Compatibility

People rely on Plover's weird dictionary format in their JSON dictionaries :p
