Why Space?
In Space:
Space exists as a place to talk about the site itself. When this site was created, a place was never carved out to talk about meta things in the Proto part of the site, so Space was eventually created.
This place was initially used for Grahp to throw things he didn't want to be linked, and you can still find artifacts of that all around here (See Navigation).
