This work is related to pinchord-14 Chords Format and pinchord-18 Build Process.

Symptoms

Pinchord sits on both Plover and Javelin, and you cannot use a Pinchord derivation on one engine if it was only made for the other engine.

Pinchord has a long and arduous build process for updates.

I think Pinchord and its derivations are fragmented across Plover and Javelin
